I need a boot image for linux ubuntu 8.04 so I can make a bootable disk of that, but if I could get a full tutorial on how to make a bootable disk or a site that has a good one that would be appriciated.

To burn it to a cd open your burning software and select burn image (iso) to disk. Select the Ubuntu file and add it. Click next, let it burn and you're done.
