What is a really pretty distribution of linux?

I want to switch to the Linux OS from the Windows OS whenever I build my new computer. What is a version of linux that has really good graphics like Windows Vista or MacOSx. Prefferably one of the free linux distributions.

What is a really pretty distribution of linux?
Definitely Mandriva (formerly known as Mandrake); Mandriva DVD is full of software including different Desktop Environment, but you can only find open source software (closed source software can be installed later, anyway); on Mandriva One 2007 you can also find yet free but not open source stuff like official driver for nvidia and ati and firmware for some devices like adsl modems; with Mandriva (if your card is supported, so when you buy a new PC I suggest an nvidia based video card, since nvidia is better supported than ati) you can easily set 3D desktop features, transparencies, "springy" windows :) etc.

The same results can be achieved with every Linux, Mandriva is easier.
Reply:You can read here a comparison between different distributions of LINUX:
