How do I trick out my laptop so it has the features of linux and mac?

I just got a new laptop and I would like it to look sweeeeet!!! What are some things I could do to make it look and feel like linux or the mac OS?

How do I trick out my laptop so it has the features of linux and mac?
you cant really have the features of either one with out installing them. windows does have a few things that change the features but there not the same. you cant put mac features from there OS on to windows. LOL you cant install a live CD for they guy above me. its a LIVE CD which means it runs of the CD. Linux has a cool thing called barel. i think the new one is called compiz and is a lot better than mac and windows combined and is really useful when multitasking.
Reply:install linux and dual boot.

to do this shrink your primary partition using gparted boot disk then make two additional partitions, one large and one appropriate size for your machine as a linux swap file (google how to calculate the size).

then download kubuntu live cd and install to second partition.
Reply:If you like the look of Linux - why not just install Linux? Its free and then if you dont like it, you can put it back to windoze. Or partition your hard drive leave windoze on one partition and put Kubuntu or PCLinux or something on the other partition. Then you can dual boot and boot to either OS you feel the need to boot too
